While light inspiration is fine, I do not allow people to recreate/replicate/imitate my Carrds or ask people to recreate/replicate/imitate them.
I require a lot of detail and visual reference, so please don't be afraid to be detailed!
I prefer straightforward communication over niceties. Please be specific about your details and refrain from being vague!
My approach is very hands-on, so if you prefer to be more uninvolved, I may not be the best to commission.
My schedule is quite stilted, so please be patient for responses.
All of these terms apply to both Artwork and Carrd commissions!
Usage
Disclose whether your commission request is for personal or commercial use when contacting me.
You may not claim my work to be your own. I reserve all rights to my art, and may add any work to my portfolio/boards.
Do not repost my work unless it is something you have commissioned from me, in which case I require credit (@xiumai__ on twitter/insta)
You may not remove any watermarks I may put on your commission/carrd.
You may not use personal commissions for commercial reasons (reselling, merchandise, stickers, NFTs etc.)
Do not use my work to train AI.
Payment/Refunds
I take Cashapp/Paypal/Venmo but can also use Paynow for Singaporean clients.
I will not start a commission without full upfront payment and adequate detail of what I will be drawing.
If a commission is canceled by the client's request, I will refund the percent I haven't done. If I cannot finish it, there will be a full refund.
Clients who commission me for a Carrd may ask for a refund if the first first finished page isn't to their expectations.

If you are commissioning a Carrd, please be sure to thoroughly read the Carrd page as well!
By commissioning me, you automatically agree to my terms.
My general T.A.T for art is 1-3 weeks.
My general T.A.T for a Carrd is 4-7 days.
I do not take commissions with hard deadlines unless they're 3 weeks in advance at minimum.
Please state ALL changes you'd like me to make in one message, if any.
Do not wait until I've sent the updated sketch/site to ask for more edits. Please TAKE YOUR TIME after I send an update to inspect any potential issues.
Clients may not request large changes once lineart is started.
Please note that many edits may result in a longer TAT.
I will not restart any commission. If you change your mind on what you want after payment is made, I will count it as a client-cancelled commission and the new idea will be an entirely new commission.
I will send updates and the final product as PNGs, I will not provide CSP/PSD documents.

Simple backgrounds are of no extra charge.

1. Any aesthetic or format inspiration
Image inspiration is mandatory, and I cannot make a site only with text input! Anything that shows what you want aesthetically and format-wise like sites, magazines, moodboards, etc.
Any text sent should work with the images you've sent to better help me understand your tastes and ideas! Is there any aesthetic, interest, or general idea you'd like me to incorporate into the site?
2. How many pages and their functions
Most commission Carrds will cap at 4 pages, since there's a 100 element limit on free Carrd plans.
Most commission Carrds come with 4 pages: HOME, T.O.S, PRICES, and EXAMPLES. If you'd like additional pages on top of those/wish to skip or combine certain pages, please let me know!
3. Any existing text you'd like me to insert
This is not mandatory, so if you don't have an existing Carrd/site/portfolio/document I can rip text from, I will be using Lorem Ipsum as filler!
Note:
A site ranges from $15-$30+ depending on complexity and # of pages
I am happy to discuss and talk you through the process, so don't be afraid to ask questions and pose ideas!
While nearly all my sites can be made with the free plan, plan-free sites have a 150 element constraint! Please be comfortable with compromising some ideas if this applies to you.
Additionally if you have a free Carrd plan, I cannot customize the Carrd watermark that appears at the bottom of the site once you accept the site transfer.
Commercial fees do not apply to Carrds, but removing my watermark is not allowed under any circumstances.
I prefer not to do remakes/replicas of previous sites I've made.
Full upfront payment only. You may request a refund if you are not satisfied by the time the first page is finished.
